ABOUT YOUR NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR
Dr. Taylor Pronozuk
Dr. Taylor Pronozuk’s interest in naturopathic medicine dates back to her childhood. She spent many years chronically ill. She traveled from physician to physician trying to discover what was wrong. She left each office visit without answers and usually a prescription in hand. The medications either only temporarily masked her symptoms or simply didn’t work at all. It was a struggle to find a doctor who focused on finding and treating the root cause of her illness rather than offer a prescription medication. It wasn’t until years later when she was introduced to a naturopathic doctor, did she begin to experience true healing. This individual asked questions that no other doctor had taken the time to ask and intently listened to her health journey.
It was through this powerful first-hand experience that Dr. Pronozuk became captivated by naturopathic medicine. She knew that she had to share this life-changing medicine with others. This is why Dr. Pronozuk completed four years of pre-med courses and an additional four years at naturopathic medical school in order to serve her patients. And now, she hopes she has the privilege to serve you.
Dr. Pronozuk has deep roots in the Four Corners. Her family has lived here for four generations. Family ties, as well as, the unparalleled quality of life made the decision to permanently locate in Durango after medical school an easy choice.
In her spare time, you can find Dr. Pronozuk trekking nearby mountains, playing in her garden, or cooking up some meal that she will never be able to replicate. It’s true, just ask her husband. She is a lover of tea and charcuterie boards, and hates to be cold. In fact, if there is a fire, you can bet she will be snuggled dangerously close. She loves for friends and family to gather around a table filled with delicious food and meaningful dialogue. Dr. Pronozuk likes to create a similar atmosphere in her office visits, where you can expect to sit around a table with a cup of hot tea or coffee in hand, chatting about you.
